Rohit Sharma became the first cricketer to score three double centuries in one-day internationals.
The Mumbai batsman smashed his landmark against Sri Lanka in the second ODI against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
Interestingly enough, this is his second double century against Srilanka, a world record score of 264, against Sri Lanka. His first double century against Australia in Bangalore in 2013.
His knock of 208, which came in 153 balls, was studded with 13 fours and 12 sixes. This is his first score of 100-plus as an ODI skipper.
Rohit was the only man to score more than one double hundred in ODIs. Four other batsmen - Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Chris Gayle and Martin Guptill - have only one each.
