Indian opener Cheteshwar Arvind Pujara created a rare record in first-class cricket. Pujara has scored a double century in the Test match at Rajkot in Ranji Trophy and is the only Indian to score 12 double centuries. Pujara, who scored 204 on the second day of the Saurashtra Cricket tournament, reached the top of the Saurashtra and Jharkhand teams on Sunday, with 11 double centuries to go back to the top. After Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar and Vijay Hazare, respectively, in the top ten, Vijay Merchant's name has been 70 years since he has scored the most double centuries, but now it is breaking Pujara. Pujara has scored three double centuries in international cricket, two of which are in Australia.
